99% Chance of Australia!!!!!

HI EVERYBODY!!!!!

I'm really really really really really really really really really really excited!!!!!! You guys know how I sign up to possibly go to Heron Island to study the Barrier Reef?!?!?!?! Well guess what (you probably already guessed because of the excitement but who cares) I GOT IN!!!!!! I got an email this morning saying that if I confirm that I will be going by December 10th, I will be able to go on the trip to Heron Island!!!!! I get to see turtles and fish and coral and work in an actual marine biology lab!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!! I was even able to pay attention in Ecology today because I actually was happy with life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I need to breath and calm down now. I just had to tell you all the news before I exploded. I should be letting them know that I said yes soon, as soon as I figure out how I am going about this. In other news, I have my ASL final project drafted. I'm retelling the Russian folktale "Father Frost" in sign language from memory, so I need to work on that this week too. I didn't have stats which just fueled my good mood. The only bummer today has been that Maren has a pretty bad headache but I don't have any oils to help her out. Another good thing about today was I found out that my Ecology exam will not be comprehensive, which is a big breath of fresh air for me, because I hate the class soooooo much.

Some more spiritual-ish things: I'm planning on going to a Christmas hymn night on Sunday where everyone that goes can just sing hymns. Hopefully I'm not to people-tired to go, but I have a feeling that Maren will drag me there even if I am by that point. We also had a rather funny story told to us today about how our Institute teacher almost got arrested while in charge of an EFY. Yeah. Brother Jacob is great like that.

For food news, because Brittany is so fascinated by what enters into my stomach, I tried a new Indian dish today. Once again, I felt it needed more curry and spices, but overall it tasted pretty good. It was something with chicken and cream but it wasn't curry or tikka masala. Breakfast was oatmeal because I was really excited and my stomach didn't really want a lot of food. Oatmeal never hurts the stomach so it was nice. I won't be posting later tonight, so I guess I'll try and tell you all what I had for dinner tomorrow.

So yeah, that's all I can think of to say. I'm still really hyper and happy in all the right (but slightly chaotic) ways. Hopefully I can calm down enough so I'm not jumping off the walls at my presidency meetings. TOODLES!!!!!!!!!
