I just wanted to write really quickly about the fact that Dr. Temple Grandin actually came and talked to USU students today!!!!! It was so cool! I really, really like Dr. Grandin, and it was so cool to meet her in person and actually have her sign one of her books and take a picture with me! She talked a lot about the different thinkers that are slipping through the cracks today in modern school systems and critiqued how lots of people spend too much time behind computer screens. It was super neat to meet her (I really loved the movie about her that everyone should totally watch!) and she even talked to me about Australia which was really awesome.
Whew! Now that that's out of my system, let me think, is there anything else interesting that's been happening...? I mean, we're having our "movie" night on Thursday since people are leaving early, so that's news... But yeah... nothing else out of the usual has happened. I'm still writing and drawing and watching Detective Conan (we're on episode 122 if anyone is wondering).
So yeah, I'm just going to be chilling with Maren while she plays piano. Talk to you all later. Sorry for the short post but hey! Proof of life!
