Hello people! I don’t know what to say in this introduction so I’m just going to get started (sorry if I’m super awkward this week it’s been a trend).
Monday was the start of the awkwardness. I was still pretty
tired from the weekend, shocking I know. But I had stuff to do that day so I
went onto campus to go and look at my slides from last week’s IHC under the
microscope. Lo and behold, though, Max was on the microscope and there was a
mix up on when we would be done. It was so awkward and I had to just go and
find Sara and Lexi so we could figure things out. We decided I would do it on
Tuesday instead and Sara apologized for the mix up. But we were able to use the
time to talk over measurement outcomes and to look over my programs of study.
We got it all figured out though, so I went home and sent in some of my
paperwork and the like before settling down with Maren and watching Ghost Hunt
after making tater tots. It was great.
On Tuesday, the final exam for my Animal Molecular Biology
class dropped, but I didn’t work on it at all. Instead, I was on the microscope
and being really happy with the results. We also talked about next week’s round
of IHC since I have to make sure it’s the best background that I can have while
still accounting for the secondary antibody and the NSC. I know that will make
no sense to anyone, but I don’t really feel like trying to write that all out. I also worked on my SCAF writing to turn into
Shaun until heading to my last class-lab of the year. It was pretty smooth, and
we got decent results that even the TA was impressed by. All in all, it was pretty
productive. I then came home and chilled while watching Tommy’s stream. It was
a busy week on the SMP, with plans to break into Pandora’s Vault and kill
dream. But I’ll talk about that later. I also made a crisp, which was
delicious.
Wednesday brought some self-reflection. I had a meeting with
SARA about my IDP and we talked about goals and how I was doing. It was very
nice and I really enjoyed our discussion. I also submitted my SCAF so that’s
done and taken care of, as well as looked through the evaluations for my TAing.
They were surprisingly positive. There was one that was harsher, but their
critiques were legitimate problems that I am already working on, so it wasn’t
too inaccurate. Though, apparently I’m too quiet. Who would have guessed? XD.
Anyways, I finished the day by working on half of my final and my final write-up
for the lab from this week. Then it was all smooth sailing with playing
Phasmaphobia and watching Avatar.
Thursday was my roughest day of the week. I woke up at a 10
on the anxiety scale, and it was a no food day—I didn’t even eat until dinner
time because food was just so gross. I had to leave the house too which sucked.
I turned in my lab notebook with as little awkward small talk as possible which
was a lot to deal with and then I had to make a decision on whether or not I
could drive to pick up my permit or not. The answer was a definite no, since my
anxiety was just so bad that I would probably not be able to handle it.
Thankfully, Maren offered to drive me, so I only had to worry about going into
the building and doing more small talk. My apartment-mate is great and no one
should say anything otherwise. Anyways, I worked on my final and finished it up.
Then it was time for the Dream SMP stream.
Everything went to crap. Tommy got caught sneaking in by Awesamdude
and is now banned from the prison or he will be killed, Ghostbur was murdered,
and Dream got what he wanted. WilburSoot is back, and it’s not in a good way.
He’s kind of like Jason Todd now, which is a little scary and promises a lot of
craziness when he steps back into the limelight. Ranboo also did a scary “What
did you do?” which I think might have been his Enderwalk state stepping through
again, but who knows. Oh, and on top of that? Ranboo had to tell Philza that
the son he murdered is back to being alive after spending a time dilation of 13
years in purgatory and with a new hero worship for Dream. Yeah. This can’t end
well. Not at all. Especially with all of Ranboo’s Enderwalk experiments and all
the Lessons that he’s starting to remember. It’s a mess. And I LOVE IT.
Anyways that was the rest of Thursday night if you couldn’t
tell. Friday was alright. I was pretty amped all morning to the point where
writing wasn’t working, so I texted Dad who suggested I played on Minecraft,
which I did until the server crashed. I then spent a good amount of time
working on various tasks and missing Penny. Sam came over sometime around noon
and stayed until he went to work. I went to lie down after that as I’d been struggling
with a really bad headache (bordering on a migraine), and hid in my room for a
long while. Mom and Dad called as well, and it was nice to talk to them even if
the discussion was more serious. After that I was feeling well enough to hang
out again, which I did for the rest of the night.
And now it’s Saturday. I’m watching Maren play Age of
Calamity, and I’ll probably start playing it as well, which is exciting. Anyways,
that’s it. Talk to you next week!
