I Have an Excuse This Time, I Swear

Hey Everyone!

As my title today suggests, I have a reason for why I didn't write anything on the blog last night. That would be the fact that the RS presidency meeting lasted for over 2 hours while we were figuring out ministering sisters and such. By the time we were done, Mom was ordering me to bed from the phone. But that doesn't mean that I don't have stories to tell from yesterday. So I'll be splitting this into two parts (sort of)

Tuesday Stories:

My Stats teacher has officially won me over. We're going over distributions right now, so on the note sheets with example problems, we came across the following question: 'Show the distribution of kids in a family in the Cache Valley'. So she starts to write down 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then she stops. However, before she moves onto the next question, she pauses and then curses before loudly complaining that "Dammit! I forgot this was Utah!" and then proceeds to write ...21. 21 kids in a family. I just about keeled over from laughing so hard at everything that I almost didn't catch what my neighbor said.

"Yep, polygamy will do that."

What the heck is wrong with my campus? It was so funny though, and it made my day a little brighter. After that, I had lunch with Maren and we headed to Institute together since we are in the same class, just chatting about some great Harry Potter fanfictions we've read. I made a new friend in institute because she saw the two of us doodling before class started and more or less exclaimed "Finally, some sane people" and proceeded to tell us all about the man that posed for her art class assignment and how bad he was at staying still. Besides that, I can't really remember much else of what happened in Institute, so oh well....

Ecology was a bummer, as I was reminded about an assignment I had due in the class tomorrow, and it was boring. The aquatics unit I was excited about was actually about water intake for metabolism. Boring! After that class I went and met with my academic adviser and came up with a plan for the next couple of years. Mom wasn't super happy when I told her that they said I would take the full two years instead of one and a half, but, what can I do? Anyways, it helped me decide that I'm definitely just going for general biology, and not cell/molecular biology. Too much chemistry for my tastes if I went that route, and I can't finish it in time for my scholarship to cover it.

Hmmmnnnn.... what else happened yesterday? Not much that I remember. Oh, well, onto Wednesday.

Wednesday Stories:

I went to Chemistry, which was same as usual, and now I'm a little worried over next weeks exam since it's the same day as my Ecology exam, but nothing much else happened there. I took my Stats exam right after Chemistry. It seemed easy enough, so I either did really well, or really poorly, because even with me taking my time, I still got it done in less than half the time I was given to work on it. So yeah... not certain on that one.

Had some lunch with my friends, so that was normal (pizza today for those of you who are curious). Headed to Stats Recitation, which was boring and I could have just left after turning in my assignment and wouldn't have learned anything new. It was all review for the test I had already taken this morning. Boo and hiss. After that I spent my time working on homework until dinner which I had with Hannah and Alex. Nachos without the bell peppers aren't as fun, but it was okay. The pico de gallo here is really tomato heavy, and I like my pico with a little bit more onion. So that was a bit of a bummer, but still... it's nachos. What else would I expect?

I think that's been all for today. I can't think of anything else of note that was different than the usual.

So yeah. I'll just awkwardly drop off here.
