Hey Everybody!
So today was General Conference, as per usual for the first Saturday of October. I have to admit though, that most of the changes weren't surprising. We had heard rumors for a while, and well... tomorrow should be interesting if they are anything to go by. I liked Rasband's, Uchtdorf's, Oaks's, and Soares's talks. Oaks was a good way to end the meeting I felt, as it kind of outlined everything in a way to tie the changes together into what we already knew. I appreciated that a lot. I also got the general feeling about inclusion from a lot of talks, and how to strengthen the Church more and more in the coming days. It has me a bit nervous- after all, this kind of preparation means something big is probably going to happen soon. Or at least that seems to be my general feeling.
I didn't do much besides watch Conference (Maren fell asleep a lot throughout the meeting, and I had to wake her a few times- it was fun). I did watch Studio C today afterwards. It isn't as terrible as it has been in the past, and they even have new members that I didn't know about. It was pretty good. I had a lame version of chicken fajita nachos at the Marketplace today, but it still tasted good.
