Hey everybody!
So today had a lot of ups and downs. First off, there was a lot of snow. While it did make everything really pretty and peaceful outside, it was a nightmare to hurry from Genetics to Chemistry. Classes were mostly good. Genetics was nice and fun, and I feel excited for the stuff we are going to do tomorrow in it. I'm thinking I'm going to have to look into things a bit more though, because I'm getting lost in the wording of questions in that class. Chemistry was crap. I'm still frustrated with the teacher and before class I was doing the homework and it was on something he never covered in the last unit. Thankfully, Mom sent me a text at the end of class that cheered me up.
I then had lunch with Maren, where I had tater tots (I swear I love them as much as Venom nowadays) and chicken tenders. Very simple I know. We talked a lot about our comic then headed towards Institute. Today we talked about the Creation. I loved what we talked about because we were actually able to go into depths about how the organization and "blueprint" worked and all of the things that make me feel comfortable with believing in both God and still loving and finding truth in science. It left me feeling pretty good.
Then I went to my Chemistry Lab, and it wasn't fun. I have another non-native English speaker!!!! But this time I can't hear her when she speaks. It's not going to be fun, and I don't like my lab partner. But enough on that! I went to my Heron Island meeting tonight! It sounds like it's going to be so much fun. I just have to get past my fear of the unknown. There are actually three types of turtles in that area and it will be hatching season when we go!!!! Do you know what that means?!?!?!?! It means that we might get to see the last of the turtles hatch! There are also Sooty Albatross's, lemon/black-tipped/white-tipped sharks, sting rays, moon jellyfish, cone shells (Which yikes! That's scary, I hope I'm not harpooned!!!) and like twelve other species of birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really excited. I still have to do a fair amount of prep work to go, but I think it's going to be fun.
I then had some really good Chicken Alfredo for dinner. It was a microwave meal. I need to figure out what brand because it really was super good. Well, that was kind of all the big parts of my day. I'm just hanging out in study group right now working on this blogpost. I still have a lot of homework to do, and I need to go swimming tomorrow, so it looks like tomorrow will be pretty long as well. Talk to y'all later!
