I just got done with Winter Break (and like I've decided in the past, when I'm off on break, I don't feel the need to post anything on here, so sorry not sorry). It was a lot of fun, but at the same time, I can't help but be anxious to start school again. I've been missing the structure that it gives my day. And while I'm not one hundred percent gung-ho about my classes, I can say that I'm looking forward to school.
So let's see what I've been doing today...
- I started the drive up here with Maren and her dad around 8:15-ish. It was long but enjoyable, as Maren and I talked about Zelda lore, since I'm still learning about the video game series (so far I'm liking it).
- I grabbed some bread for PBJ's (which I had for lunch. I can't believe how much I've forgotten that I love peach jam so much).
- I gave Maren her bird cup (I will post a picture below to satisfy any curiosity) and a whole package of microwave brownie mix, and she was delighted.
- I've handed out some of the gratitude journals that Mom gave me, so that feels good.
- I hung out with Maren for most of the time I've been back (Jessica stopped by though to talk to us about a meeting tomorrow and to chat about our respective breaks.) and we've just been chilling
- She really likes the progress that I've made on my comic page, so I'm feeling pretty happy.
- We also face timed with Phoebe for over an hour so that she and Maren could get to know each other.
- We also talked about nerd stuff, so I won't bother with the details.
- I had some spaghetti for dinner (really good as always).
So yeah. Today's been chill but eventful. Hopefully that sates all y'all's curiosity. Talk to you later!
