First Day of the Last Semester

Hello, everybody. Take four now.

So I won't say that today started out great. My first class starts at 8:30 a.m. now, which meant getting up bright and early at 7:00. The first thing that happened after getting dressed was one of my nail ripping where it's still attached to skin, so that has been a sucky part of the day as a whole. Makes typing a bit rough because it only tore half-way and I'm too scared to rip it all off because it's like half-way down too. Don't know why I felt like you guys should know that, but now you know!

My first class is Herpetology. Savitzsky is out in New Zealand right now so Megan is actually teaching the class right now. It was just going through introduction stuff today (the whys and hows of the class and subject as a whole). I actually feel really good about how this class will turn out. I found out that one of my chemistry lab partners is in the class with me along with Jane from Australia. So that was cool. There is also a person with a service dog in the class. Even if the dog is there to do its job and I can't do anything with it, it made my day a little brighter see it there. That class was only thirty minutes long- Megan let us out as soon as she said her bit.

I used that time to find my new classrooms that I will be going to tomorrow. I still need to find my one at institute and my chem lab, but it shouldn't be so hard. After that, I met up with Karin to go and walk with her to class because I was kind of bored. At that point, there was still only two things up on Canvas which was infuriating. I worked on what I could, and made my to do list for the week (at least partially). I eventually ate lunch and then later headed to my chemistry class.

My chemistry teacher is really nice and chill. I also feel pretty good about that class. It will be a little challenging, but I don't think I'll get as overwhelmed this time. It's about stuff that happens in the body, so I think I can actually put things together in a way that I can understand. Thankfully, my textbook is not required for that class. I then headed home (checked the mail and got my package) and worked a little on Maren's birthday present (which is just a really nice letter to her because she sends people really nice text messages to people on their birthday so I want to repay the favor).

I've been flipping between that, writing, and homework for the past few hours because I actually have access to most if not all of my classes now. So yeah. It's going to be a chill night. Allison ordered pizza and we're apparently going to be all chilling tonight as a dorm with Hannah included. So this will be fun. We're just waiting on Maren.

OOOOHHHH!!! Guess what???? My ship is official! Tim and Karin are finally boyfriend and girlfriend! Hip-hip hooray...

Well, this is me signing off!

Bye.
