Hello everyone! I’m just going to get started, but it was a lot better this week than last, so don’t worry.
Monday was early since I ended up waking really early to go
to my class, and I actually understood
most of it, and I was even able to work through most of the R assignment on my
own once I was started, which made me feel pretty awesome. I had to run home to
do therapy, which was rough because my computer camera was still not working so
I had to do it on my appointment on the phone which was difficult. After that
was done, I decided to get some preliminary studying in before the lab meeting.
The lab meeting itself was really boring since we were just going over blood
safety practices. It was nice to have it all done, however, since then I could get
the hardcore studying done. Allie had said she would help me with it, so for around
five hours she was helping me study. We took a break hallway through to get
shakes which was nice, and for me to do prayer, before we were back to the
grind. I basically studied until I passed out and called it a night.
Tuesday had some more studying in the morning with my
diagraming out all the processes of neuron cells. I did end up accidentally
skipping Institute because I worked through it, and I even forgot breakfast,
but did grab lunch before running onto campus. I got really sad on my way
though since I realized I accidentally broke my writing streak because of the
studying on Monday night, which was depressing. It kind of made everything a
bummer, but the Exam went fine, though it was long and really hard (got a 91%
though which is really good). By the time I was done with that, and then my reading
for the week, I was brain dead. I did head to the interior design event with my
roommates though, before calling it a night and hiding downstairs. And then, I
saw it. Technoblade had updated. AND IT WAS DREAM SMP LORE!!!!! It was the most
insane shift in mood ever. Techno is now free of Pandora’s Vault and is planning
to help Dream out, which is less good. As my notes said: TECHNO ESCAPED HOLY
CAMMOLI ON A CANOLI. XD
On Wednesday, one person did show up to the new Q&A
hour, which was nice. We also finally had our fire alarms taken care of, which is
really great. I mostly took the day to relax after the craziness of the start
of the week. This meant Minecraft, hanging out with Allie and my house-mates,
and just kind of vibing since I was also just really tired and slept like crap.
Not much to report for that day… sorry.
Thursday was all over the place. I was able to write before
institute, which was really nice, though… that didn’t save me from the Institute
Incident That Shall Never Be Spoken Of. Enough said. It was sadly not a good
art day, so Institute was just frustrating. I texted Maren throughout the day,
and we even sent each other videos and planned to hang out on Friday. Neuro
class was just a review the test day and talk for a little while since Sara
decided it would be better to give us a break after the exam. I was also
assigned my project topic, which I’ll have to start working on soon. Dad also
was able to help me with my R homework once I got home, which was seriously
appreciated, especially with how frazzled and tired I was. I was just mostly
vibing until it was time for bed, still being super tired.
Friday was a lot of fun once class and homework was dealt
with. Homework kind of just sucks, but I had going over to Maren’s as the
reward and I had a lot of fun with her. She showed me a new show which I’m
still on the fence about, and then when Karin came over, we finished the Little
Prince season on Sky and ran through Eden to complete it. It was very
emotional. After that was done, Karin told me her whole nightmare of a living
situation story since apparently she and Tim are being screwed over by some of
the housing people they’re dealing with. Once I came back, my roommates were
heading out for dinner, so I joined them and we went to Wingers which was
weird. They had Karcen and I decide on a movie before Abby just kind of decided
she didn’t like what we had to suggest and found her own, which was kind of
rude in my opinion, but I don’t care all that much. I didn’t have to stick
around to watch Valentine’s Day, and instead I just headed downstairs and
watched the Little Prince move instead which had me crying until eleven at
night, but it was a good crying session. And Allie even let me sneak away with
a piece of the dessert she made.
It was nice to not wake up with a headache on Saturday, and
I was even able to sleep in until nine. I was able to hang out with Annie for a
little while and found out that she’s a huge Minecraft fan so I showed her some
Manhunt videos and she joined me for the end of MCC and we both celebrated when
the Orange Ocelots won the competition; a well deserved win after the thing
that happened with Grian last time. I was working on homework during the other parts
of MCC, and got most of it done, but I’ll still have stuff to ask the teacher
on Monday to finish it. I admittedly can’t remember what else happened yesterday
so I’ll leave that there. Today (Sunday) has been all over the place once
again. I went to church even though I woke up very anxious, and was
surprisingly willing to stay for both hours, which I consider a large
achievement considering I woke up at a 8/10 on the anxiety scale. I did my
walking this morning to try and calm down, which worked, and I finished my
institute readings and videos for the week too. I’ve been watching Nailed It
since we got back from church, and I am now writing this blog while it is going
on. So, if it seems not entirely cohesive, blame the multi-tasking skills that
I do not have. Kayla is the one cooking tonight, so we’ll see how that goes.
But yeah, that was my week. I think I’m going to be done
