I have a lot of fun things to share with you today. So, this morning I decided to wear my Hufflepuff shirt, and a lot of people commented on it, talking about their own houses. I even had one of the lunch lady people yell "Hufflepuff!" whenever she saw me in the room. Her name is Ashley. It was a lot of fun to see everyone's reactions to my shirt, and it got to the point where I was looking forward to having people stop and talk to me (which I normally hate).
For my adventure on Campus for the day, I, once again went through some of my class schedules, but I also helped Alex find her way to the Engineering Building, as she hadn't been there before, but I had classes there so I knew where it was. It was a lot of fun as we debated which Robin was the greatest (we both agreed that Grayson is still the best Robin, but we love all the other ones too) sidekick. This led to a lot of comic book chatter that I won't bore you guys with (let's just say there was another heated debate about who was the best Spiderman and which side we would be on for the whole Civil War thing).
After the whole adventure to the Engineering Building and doing a walk around Campus, I headed back to my dorm room to work on fixing my computer, as it had been having some errors. Needless to say, I'm very thankful that my dad knows what he is doing, as he gave me a link to a place with instructions with pictures to help me figure it out. This led to a little bit of time of me messing around with some stories (I actually am uploading one of my fanfics and people have been giving me very nice reviews so I was able to respond to a few and release a couple more chapters to them. It feels great to have people encouraging you to write as you go, gets a lot more done). I soon got bored with that, and having another hour before lunch, drew one of the fanfic characters in my sketchbook. I'm probably just going to keep that picture to myself though, as it was a little "spooky".
I then headed off to lunch where I finally braved the sandwich line. I really wanted a pizza sandwich, so I ordered all the ingredients I would put on a pizza, and had them toast it on a croissant. It was really good, much better than I was expecting (I'll have a picture of it below). The "Hufflepuff!" lady said hi to me again when I dropped my dishes off and ran into her. It made me laugh. After lunch, I felt a little tired, so I more or less nodded off in my room for a while, until I checked the mail. A little after, Meagen texted me and we had a nice chat about what was going on, so that was pretty nice.
I then went back to drawing, this time I tried to do a pretty realistic drawing with lots of shading, and while it didn't go as I exactly wanted it to, it was still a pretty good art piece. At this point I received an email from my Chemistry Professor, and did a lot of the pre-class stuff. Right afterwards it was around dinner time and I met up with both Kamryn and Alex at the Junction, only to find out it was closed! We decided to go to the Marketplace at the Taggart Center, though I was a bit reluctant. I was under the impression that the food court on the bottom floor was the Marketplace, as that was how I read the map of the Taggart Center. Boy was I wrong! Turns out the Marketplace is on the second floor and it is amazing! While the Junction has variety, the Marketplace is even better, like a freakin' buffett. There are so many choices.
For dinner tonight I got Asian food, hoping it would be better than the stir fry I had yesterday. To be safe I went with the fried rice, where you were able to add toppings to it if you wanted them. They even gave you options to add pot-stickers and egg rolls to your dish, so I of course got an egg roll to go with mine. It was so good (and I even ate the peas)! I'm happy that I'll be in the neighborhood of the Marketplace every Monday for class, as I will definitely be eating there again. I'll probably go for the Grill section as it looked like they had onion rings, which are always a win. There was even a huge desert bar where they were serving Aggie Ice Cream, so I got some vanilla with Reeses. It was good. And the company I had made it even better, as Kamryn spent a good part of dinner deciding if she wanted to have cake for dinner since her "crab" fried rice (see below) wasn't what she was expecting. This led to a lot of laughs as Alex is apparently a huge proponent for eating real food for meals and tried to set her straight, threatening to drag her to get a fish taco from the Mexican section. Kamryn somehow got out of it and ended up having a cookie for dinner along with an egg roll. Still, it was pretty funny.
That was kind of it for the day... so yeah. Hope you enjoyed hearing about it.
